Fascias, soffits and gutters, fitted straight and flowing

New uPVC fascias, soffits and guttering fitted straight, sealed and falling the right way, plus repairs, unblocking and realignment where the existing run just needs putting right. The roofline is what protects your rafter ends and keeps water off the walls; when it fails you get rot, damp and green streaks down the render. It is also the finishing line of the roof, and it shows when it is done well.

Roofline with fascia and guttering ready for renewal
What’s included

Every fascia and guttering job, covered.

Full Roofline Replacement

Old timber off, rafter ends checked, new uPVC fascia and ventilated soffit fitted straight and level, capped or full replacement as the job needs.

Guttering & Downpipes

New gutter runs set to fall properly to the outlets, brackets at the right centres, joints sealed, downpipes secured and discharging where they should.

Repairs & Realignment

Sagging runs re-bracketed, leaking joints resealed, broken sections matched and replaced without renewing the whole roofline.

Ventilation Done Right

Ventilated soffits or over-fascia vents fitted so the loft breathes, because sealing a roof up tight causes condensation problems of its own.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Do I need the full roofline replacing or just the gutters?

If the timber behind the gutter is sound, new guttering alone is a perfectly good job. If the fascia is soft, flaking or holding the brackets loosely, new gutters will sag within a year and the money is wasted. We push a bradawl in and tell you which you have.

What is the difference between capping and full replacement?

Capping fixes a new uPVC board over the existing timber; full replacement strips the timber back to the rafter ends first. Capping over sound, dry timber is fine and saves money. Capping over rot just hides it while it spreads, and we will not do it. We tell you which your roofline can honestly take.

Why does water pour over my gutter when it rains hard?

Either the run has lost its fall, the outlet or downpipe is blocked, or the gutter is too small for the roof area feeding it. All three are fixable without drama, and putting a bigger outlet or an extra downpipe on a long run is often the permanent cure.

Do you clear moss and debris as part of the job?

Yes. New guttering goes up clean, and on repairs we clear the run and the outlets as a matter of course. If a nearby roof sheds a lot of moss we can fit gutter guards, and we will tell you honestly whether they are worth it on your house.

Can you do it without scaffolding?

Short runs and repairs are often done safely from towers or ladders, which keeps the cost down. Full replacements, long runs and anything over a conservatory generally want a tower or scaffold, and we price whatever access the job genuinely needs, not the dearest option.
